Now that gyms have been open almost a month and fingers crossed the weather starts to improve, CR-CS continues training outside and making the most of the sunshine where we can and the invaluable vitamin D.
If you’re looking to start your fitness journey now that COVID-19 restrictions are being eased but are still unsure about personal training or feel nervous about training with a personal trainer you don’t know, why not bring a friend to your session?
CR-CS offers semi-private, group training in Hampshire that can accommodate for this!
It’s important to surround yourself with people who are on the same journey, share similar habits, hobbies and interests to us to ensure success. Looking back at times you’ve really not wanted to train and your gym buddy has encouraged you (or in any other aspects of life) and given you that extra push to see it through, there’s no doubt you’ve felt great after the session and felt appreciative of the support.
This kind of support can be experienced through our bespoke and detailed semi-private personal training services, at our studio in Basingstoke.
The benefits of semi-private group training
Semi-private group training has many benefits. The main benefit being that we can take you through the coaching process and help educate you on your form and performing movements. This gives you the chance to help correct your partners form and in turn, correct your own if needed. This kind of knowledge will carry over to sessions you do in the gym without a personal trainer, adding to the value of the service, keeping you lifting safely and effectively.
The second benefit is the small element of competition. Most of us enjoy a bit of healthy competition, always wanting to better ourselves and consistently improve. Sometimes, it’s even better to have one of your peers of equal ability to help push you further and harder, so long as it’s safe to do so. Once again, this will help with accountability outside of the session and encourage you to consistently beat your own targets, whilst low-key competing against your training partner.
Finally, the value of the session remains the same as that of a 1-21 personal training session. You’ll still have a highly dedicated coach with equal contact and check ins outside of sessions, a training programme and tailored nutrition advice at a reduced fee compared to our 1-2-1 personal training services. The cost to you per session per person will be discounted when you attend the session.
CR-CS is now taking on groups of 2 people to train at our studio. Suitable progressions, regressions and exercise selection will be tailored to fit the abilities of those taking part in the session.
